My lens
Kenyan by origin, I was born and brought up in an agricultural village in Meru at the slopes of Mount Kenya.I have been lucky to go through University education, also been able to travel to different countries in Europe, Asia and also around Kenya, this has helped me see different realities. I'm working as an online volunteer through Nabuur.com. I'm involved with different communities in search of solutions to problems they are facing locally.
I believe we can make the world a better place. By sharing our ideas, expertise, creativity we can be able to contribute to a world without suffering.
My work here is to gather information from the internet, groups locally and update the website.
Dennis,Kenyan, an Accounts student at Meru Technical College. Currently sitting his CPA level 1 final exams. My dream is to work with an international team, help others whenever I can in everyday poverty and education issues.
I come from a small village in Meru, there are many young people like me who would like to study, get better jobs and be better citizens of tomorrow. But due to poverty they are not able to. I'm happy to join hands with Africa54 in bringing to your attention issues that you could be involved with to help communities around in Africa.
I will be bringing to you news from schools, local initiatives, stories and much more from here. On the other hand I will be involved in marketing Africa54 initiatives locally.
Young, and have a dream "all children to go to school" Every month with the help of their teachers and classmates they write to us on their ideas, and life in school, growing up to be responsible youth to serve the community. You could sponsor this initiative, help us to visit many villages to bring you more news!!!
